Flying

Derby, Turweston and Cranfield airfields were the only entries in the logbook for the last 3 months of 2009. Now, days are getting longer though and some trips are planned!  Students are still scarce.  The first trip to Leicester in January was interesting given the poor weather!  

Aerial Photography

Some aerial snow scenes would be nice but are unlikely to be got from the Cranfield base as they do not clear the runway here.  Early in 2009 it was closed for 2 weeks due to snow and so again this year.

Sailing

The season is not far off now. My reward until then will be to repair and enhance the boat's current features with polish, varnish and maybe some minor gel-coat repairs in Spring.  Last visit the wind was around 60 mph!  Had an enquiry about the boat but not sold yet.
