One flight to Skegness with friends and a short trip to Duxford were the only ventures into the blue yonder recently.

A local job on the edge of the Luton zone was attempted on a blue sky day that became overcast by the time we arrived on site!

Sailing

Wet and windy with some high temperatures and bright days but poor conditions really for traveling up the East Coast in a small boat with minimum crew to Whitby via Grimsby as intended.

Managed a delivery voyage locally from Orford to Lowestoft in a Westerly Conway 32 with the owner in 30+ knot northerly winds with wind against tide producing the usual short chop and ensuring the engine was well used.

2 nights Shotley Marina near Harwich cost over £40 for 7.9 metres!

Now annual maintenance time and lift out to check below waterline.
